This asset is being released under the Community Led Housing (CLH) programme. CLH allows eligible third-sector organisations to bid for vacant council-owned land and property to deliver community led housing developments in Liverpool.

How to express an interest in this asset

If you are confident you meet the eligibility criteria, you can submit an expression of interest online.

You can view the full eligibility criteria, evaluation process and submit your EOI online via the council website.

Closing date: 12pm on Friday 19th May 2023.

What happens next?

If we endorse your stage 1 expression of interest, we will invite you to submit a full business and costed development plan for stage 2 and discuss our expectations with you.

Once all contract provisions have been met, we will hand over the land or building to the community group.


Site Area

The land at Netherfield Road (site 5) and Anderson Street (site 6) is bounded by Netherfield Road North, Hapton Street, Dukes Road, York Terrace and Anderson Street and is approximately 0.71 acres. The sites are approximately 2.7 miles north of the city centre and located within a predominantly residential area, adjacent to the historical Everton Park and a short walk from the newly developed retail area between Great Homer Street and Scotland Road. The site also has good transport links.


Long leasehold interest


All Community Led Housing disposals are subject to council surveyor's fees of £2000 and legal fees of £3000. These fees are non-negotiable.


If your full business and costed development plan is approved we will issue a conditional offer, subject to planning consent and other statutory requirements.
